Crescendo Chorus’ most ambitious project, Music For A Time of Unrest, featured Igor Stravinsky’s masterwork, Symphony of Psalms. Composed in 1930 while Stravinsky lived in France, Symphony of Psalms encapsulates the angst of the time and concludes with a sublime resolution. Additional selections—How Can I Keep From Singing, “All of Me” from Vision Unfolding, and The Promise of Living—create a journey from unrest, to action, to hope for the future. The audience joined in singing Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In, providing a celebratory conclusion.
